SportsStandings.com Administration - Choose Active Season: Step 1 Programs

Seasons are referred to as Programs in ISIS. The Program section is the first step to creating a new season. This section allows you to Add, Edit, or Remove Programs. To create a new program, select the Create a New Program button. Below is an outline of each section in the program piece.

Create a New Program
  1. General


    1. General


      1. Name the Program or Season
      2. Program is Active – Check this box to view the Program within the back office. If this box is unchecked, the Program will not be visible in the drop down list of the Registration page in ISIS.
      3. Select Gender, Season, Program Type, Year
      4. Proposed Program Name – Takes the information in the Gender, Season, Program Type and Year and enters this data in the Program Name field (i.e. Boys & Girls-Spring-Soccer-2006)


    2. Registration


      1. All Registrations – Open or Close Registration
      2. Enter Beginning and End Dates
      3. Enter Eligibility Notes (Optional)
      4. Enter Notes associated to the Program
      5. Select Individual or Team Registration


    NOTE: Registration can be set to ‘Open’ although the beginning date of registration is at a later date. Registrations will only become active online according to the Begins on date.

    Document Menu

    Upload documents regarding additional information on the program. These documents can be viewed online on the program page within the information icon.

  2. Website Access


  3. Website Access gives an organization the ability to control some of the parameters and types of registration options.

    1. Players


      1. Unassigned Player- Individual Registration. A player registers to an Unassigned Team.
      2. Player Member – Used with organizations that implement returning member fees. If this option is used the returning member fee in the leagues page must be entered as well as this switch turned on.
      3. Direct to Team – This switch turns on Player to Team Registration. If this option is used, this switch must be turned on, or the teams will not be visible online.
      4. Coach can Add – Allows coaches to Add players to his/her roster when managing their team roster.
      5. Coach can Edit - Allows coaches to Edit players on his/her roster when managing their team roster.
      6. Coach can Delete- Allows coaches to Edit players on his/her roster when managing their team roster.


    2. Coaches


      1. Unassigned Coach- Individual Registration. A coach registers to an unassigned team.
      2. Coach Member – Used with organizations that implement returning member fees. If this option is used the returning member fee in the leagues page must be entered as well as this switch turned on.
      3. Coach to Team - This switch turns on Player to Team Registration. If direct to team registration is required, this switch must be turned on, or the teams will not be visible.
      4. Coach Add - Allows coaches to add players to his/her roster when managing their team roster.
      5. Coach Edit - Allows coaches to edit players on his/her roster when managing their team roster.
      6. Coach Delete- Allows coaches to delete players on his/her roster when managing their team roster.


    3. Restrictions


    4. Organizations can show or hide roster information during a registration period when a coach or player is logged in to his/her member profile. The Manage Team Roster Link is removed from a coach’s member profile and the View Roster link from the player’s member profile.

      Can Show Team Info:

      1. Anytime – Rosters are shown in the Member profile during the registration period
      2. Not During Registration – Turns off the option to view rosters during the registration period.


      Coach Info

      1. Name and Phone – Displays coaches name and phone number when a player is logged in
      2. Name Only - Displays coaches name only when a player is logged in
      3. Nothing – No details displayed about the coach


      Player Info

      1. Name and Jersey Numbers – Displays players name and Jersey Numbers
      2. Name Only – Displays players name only
      3. Jersey Number Only – Displays players jersey number only
      4. Nothing – No details displayed about the player


      NOTE: This must be turned off or on in the Program and League sections in order to function properly.

      Prior Team Validation

      Prior Team Validation goes hand in hand with Individual Direct to Team registration. This feature validates a participant’s previous team from past seasons. If an individual tries to register to a team that he/she has not played on before, the system will automatically place them in the unassigned team. Please notify your Accounts Managers if you wish to use this feature.

    2. Enter a Title and Detail
    3. Select the Save button
    4. Select the Cancel button to exit the edit screen
    5. Information entered in this area can be viewed online on the program page within the information icon.


  6. News


  7. Insert news regarding the program or organization

    1. Select Create New Item
    2. Enter a Date
    3. Enter a Title and Text
    4. Select the Save button
    5. Select the Cancel button to exit the edit screen
    6. Information entered in this area can be viewed online on the program within the information icon.


  8. Important Dates


  9. Insert important dates regarding your program or organization

    1. Select Create New Item
    2. Enter a date
    3. Enter Text
    4. Select the Save button
    5. Select the Cancel button to exit the edit screen
    6. Information entered in this area can be viewed online on the program page within the information icon.


  10. Documents


  11. The documents section is where you will insert your organization’s Terms of Service, Parental Releases, etc. Documents in the program level apply to the entire program and all leagues associated to the program. If each league has a specific Terms of Service, please see the leagues section -Documents..
